Looking at Samuel Beckett, Martin Esslin, Albert Camus and Eugene Ionesco, we explored the principles of absurdist theatre specifically focusing on the void of meaning and redefining certitudes. We were specifically interested in existentialism and this became a main basis of our performance

We brainstormed multiple stimuli to focus on such as; witness, religion and bearing.

This lead to us experimenting with the use of rope, keeping everyone bound the entire performance
