Grief is not something we can define universally. It is different for everyone and everything. And Grief is not synonymous only with death. Anything can be grieved, all it takes is love. Grief is a confession of love, it’s our way of mourning what is truly important. We often don’t realise how much we needed something until we no longer have it but this is what affirms our lives.

Life is defined by its inevitable ending. It gives us time, and space to love, truly and deeply. Loss hurts but it’s not cruel. For Grief to exist, there has to be the preconception of love available.

To live is to love. To mourn is to love. To grieve is to love.
